The Kiwanis Club of Opelousas has truly embodied the spirit of giving this holiday season, namely in supporting our high school students experiencing homelessness. Their generosity is remarkable - each student will receive a $100 gift card, and individual Kiwanians have personally purchased gifts from the students' wish lists. This means so much more than just material support; it sends a powerful message that our community sees and values these students. Pictured are Federal Programs Director, Scott Champagne, Parent and Family Engagement Coordinator and Kiwanian, Tawasha Thomas, City Council Member, Marvin Richard and Kiwanians, Valerie Arceneaux, Carrie Richard, Ci Ci Savoy Blair, Connie Shakesnider, Marlena Cane, and Pam Vidrine.
