GPE Parents: Tomorrow is jean day Friday at Grand Prairie Elementary! Students may wear JEANS (no jean shorts) for $1.00! As always, spirit shirts are free. AND in celebration of the upcoming "Cajun holiday", aka the opening weekend of squirrel season 🤣, students may also wear camouflage shirts with their jeans!
GPE Parents: Ms. Malanie Artigue's bus (#601) WILL NOT BE RUNNING this afternoon, Thursday, September 30. We anticipate that bus #601 WILL NOT RUN until October 12th, as there is presently no substitute driver. We will update you if we hear of any changes.

GPE Parents who pick up students: Because of the unexpected bus issues, we are anticipating an influx in cars this afternoon. Here are a few car line reminders - The car pickup line begins in the gym parking lot. Please make sure that you follow the cars onto Point Verte Rd. Please do not block the main highway. You can stay in line at the end of Point Verte then cross into the parking lot when you see that there is room for you. Be sure to be respectful of cars that have been waiting in line by joining at the end. Also, please do not block the buses when they come in. Thank you for keeping our students safe!
